Filming in Montreal

Montreal is a city that never sleeps, so it’s no surprise that filmmakers flock to the Canadian city for the unlimited possibilities for scenes and settings. Montreal, with its rich history and architecture, as well as a variety of different neighbourhoods to pick from, is the ideal setting for your next project. We’ve put up a guide to assist filmmakers in selecting the ideal site for their next shoot! Mount Royal, located in the heart of Montreal, offers spectacular views of the city and the Port of Montreal. Rosemont is a lovely neighbourhood just east of Mount Royal, with streets lined with interesting businesses, restaurants, and cafes. This lovely area is also home to the magnificent Olympic Park, which features bike lanes, swimming pools, tennis courts, and, at its heart, the magnificent Olypique Stadium, which was erected for the 1976 Olympics. The trendy Plateau Mont-Royal district, with its multitude of shopping options and multicultural cuisine scene, is located in the city’s southern outskirts. If you want something a little more rustic, go to Old Montreal; the cobblestone streets and European buildings will give your film a timeless atmosphere. Finally, consider the Mile End entertainment zone, with its pubs, cafes, and prominent street art – this location will undoubtedly provide a unique touch to your film.
